Excuse me? China is telling Congress how the US should conduct foriegn trade? I mean, isn't that something that Congress ought to be involved in?
I mean, according to our laws, Congress is supposed to regulate foreign trade. Right?
Am I missing something?

Bueller?Congress and the current executive regime have been bought and paid for by Mexico, China, and Wal-Mart. Can't you tell?
Nobody is telling our current government actors a thing; at least not the working people.
Self-Interest, greed, and manipulation don't need any coaches with corporate sponsors and wealthy patrons.
Be Happy... It's gonna happen anyway.

Be careful playing partisan politics... remember... it was the last regime that signed NAFTA into law.

And if you remember it wasn't signed until close to the end of Clinton's last term. He didn't look like he wanted to do it, but someone had his boys in a vice. I think if he could of left office without signing the NAFTA agreement, he would of. That's just my opinion.

IIRC: NAFTA was signed in the middle of his first term.

Agreed. They also stand to be a major player in the auto biz. I read in the WSJ that GM will sell more Buicks in China than the US once they get their plants up and running over there. I also read that Chinese made cars will soon be sold here as well, reportedly Japanese in quality, Korean in price. Yeeps.
