That's why I moved from Bradenton to Michigan, at least I can get the kid to shovel the snow when it does fall!

But, good luck and be safe down there. I still have friends and relatives that live there so I hope this year is better for all concerned!

After going through three of them in rapid succession last year , I refuse to get excited any more. (Plus, I have no energy or money left with which to get excited.)

One of the local meteorologists asked when the last time there were four named storms in the tropics, this early in the season, for his nightly quiz. The answer was 154 years ago....

Stay safe down there. I'll take 25 below and 2 feet of snow any day.

Yeap, real bad last night, but I'm thankful it wasn't anywhere near a direct hit. Three trees down in my yard this morning (but nothing damaged) and a leak detected in my newly installed roof (arg!).

Anyone want to buy some wind and rain?

Sorry to hear this. I hope that the damage is at a minimum.
