Looks like the SS guys had a big day at E-Town yesterday. Some pretty impressive cars I might add. I like the white Caprice with the big lip spoiler and someone had a crazy twin turbo setup.

Great photo essay. Those are wonderful cars, and I'm wondering about production numbers, compaired to Marauder production. I suppose, in a few years, we'll be seeing the Marauder through the same glasses.:burnout:

Good bunch of folks, the SS crowd, a lot like us, really.;)

I believe in the three years of production (1994-96) they made about 41,000 Impala SSs. But, they also used the same drivetrain in lots of other Impalas (9C1), Buick Roadmasters, and Cadillac Fleetwoods. I don't see that our 11,000+ MMs will ever be able to have meets the size of those guys. But, I'm sure our numbers will be as loyal and have just as much fun.
