Rx for cat, to stop 'marking'

Our Maine Coon cat wanted to go outside badly. And since we would not let her out, she would piss by the door!! Someone recommended BUSPIRONE. The vet was reluctant to give, but I convinced him. Works great!! Some call it Prozak for kitties. The cat will even tolerate a ride in the car now.

The Vet can also has a spray that should stop it. My cat used to spray in corners when the litter box got full. Since I have used the spray he doesn't do that in that corner. You need to make sure that the area is cleaned REALLY well as they will continue to associate that spot with a litter box.

The Busiprone makes sense if she was responding to another cat, outdoors maybe. Frequently when cats mark they are talking to each other and not to you. The Busiprone makes them care less about what that other cat thinks.
