I saw this black MM in the body shop of Terrace Ford Lincoln in Burlington. Apparently the guy was parked and a semi turned into the back of it thinking he had enough room. The owner of the MM watched from outside as it happened. Caused $13,000 damage to the car, and it's been getting repaired for a couple of weeks now. Anyone here?

Not me... I would've cried :bigcry: - then blown a gasket :mad2: A couple of weeks without the Marauder would not be fun...

mine was crashed twice and in about the same spot both times too. The right rear. It amounted to about 20 grand for both crashes put together. I still got it and it looks great. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TOTALED!

That was me, I did cry! In fact that's why I have not been back for a while. I've been in mourning. How did you find out?

It wasn't quite that much damage, it was about $8100. Still enough. I only got the car back on Wednesday and I am hearing creeks and cracks. I don't need to tell you, the sting never really leaves. :shake: Yeah, if it was anything else but a transport truck I think the damge would have been minimal.

FYI - They had it for 5 weeks! :alone: The first paint job was a dark grey. They did notice it, and they did correct it. They are also going to perma-shine it and take care of all the little stone chips and road marks for me once the paint cures.

The car looks brand new, but I still can't get the "no-longer-like-the-day-i-bought-it" feeling out of my head. Even though they are all OEM and new parts. There is this burning inside my gut! :fire:

BTW - If anyone was wondering, the 6CD changer is worth about $700CDN. So don't break it!:nono:

That really would have sucked if you were in the car. Good thing you weren't. I don't know what I would have done if I saw that happening to my MM.

How did you find out?

I took the wife's Focus wagon in there for some repairs after a girl in a Chevy S10 waved me ahead and then decided to drive into the rear passenger door. I saw your MM in there and they told me it was $13000 damage. Don't know where they got that # from.
You're in Hamilton Digital Man. Why did you take it to Terrace? Glad to hear nobody was hurt.

I work out in Burlington and they fixed up a scratch I had on it back in January. Did a good job. Are they are good guys too. Further, I wanted to make sure I was going to get OEM parts. All I needed was to show up and have Crown Vic tail lights and a Marquis bumper. I would have gone mad!
