Well I did too--except a few problems and a very happy occurence occurred -
is that ok to say those two words together???--anyway--

My new upgraded rear made some noise I did not like--so mentioned it to some of the Carolina Marauder fellows at out meet this month and found out that when my new gears where changed out they found the axle showing problems--asked my CM guys--they say--yes--its' a TSB on them--get them replaced free---

Well that is like getting a free meal ticket to a luncheon at noon when you just ate lunch brought from home----thanks but no thanks---

Seems with my larger power --replacing my OEM axle with OEM--does nothing--cause I need/should upgrade to a bigger one---so --I call the DR.

As I have said in another thread--I am upgrading the axles and trimings with thickness ---will say how much later---point being--just my luck--chance to get a free axle and I can't use it---tell ya --this car is something else---once again it sits up on the rack waiting for parts----sure gonna be a great car for someone some day--hopefully--ME!!--Hey---Reed---You listening-----

Well- Today I got my MM back once again--seems I say that alot--lost count actually--anyway--

She is mine for a few weeks to play with while I do some more upgrades--
why you ask--well--it seems the whole upgrading was done except the belt didn't or wouldn't fit on the new set up (DR's original #7)--with a 2.8 pully --

So we made the aidle arm smaller----well that worked but the belt slipped on the S/C'er once into boost on the dyno--CRAP!-----so --the only solution I felt was to upgrade to a T-Trim --so my S-trim was removed and shipped out for upgrading and I am borrowing a Mustang V-Model for a few weeks with a 3.1 pully --tuned down for me-- -and my MM left the shop at 430 RWHP w/10 boost for the temporay time period --then we will re-install the T-trim w/3.1 pully and hope to go much higher----( for those not in the know--engine is totally rebuilt--thus the NEED -only live once--) meanwhile --am a happy MM owner who has got his seat back after 5 months --and I must say --this new engine is so strong--it hauls AXX with the new PI and higher gears and newer rear--all of it!!!--Tires/wheels/ girdle/axiles/ exhaust---holy cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry--I won't be able to make Dennis venture on the 17th-was hoping to do so--really wanted to run --hope to make the Alt. event though--fingers are still crossed---=

I love how a centrifugal blower can bounce back from terminal velocity. Just when you think it's all over, it all starts over again.

Best wishes, Tom, looking forward to seeing you out on the blacktop again soon.
