have any of you guys done any "bench racing" numbers on this ? things like ported / polished heads, headers, high-flow cats (mebbe custom exhaust), chip, pulleys & mebbe some lightning parts (the new meter).

360-370 HP would be great & if 400 ft/lbs was possible...good lord.

It's very possible. The motor is essentially the 01 Cobra motor with reground cams for lower end torque. Although headers will most likely need to be custom due to the steering clearances...

There's certainly alot of potential...

The Marauder motor is no where close to the O3 Cobra it has Manly rods and Forged pistons, the Marauder has Hypertectic pistons and are prone to faiure if abused or just a good hamering with bad gas can take out one, if you were just to add ported and polished heads would make a big difference along with 4:10's and good low restrictive exchaust, long tube headers would have to be custom made shorties would be a lot easier.

Now if you want something truely bullet proof.

Cobra crank. Manley forged rods. ARP main and head studs
C&P forged pistons, lower the compression ratio if you are going to run a blower. If you are not going to run a blower, then raise it to like 11.5-12:1.

Get a set of '99 and up tumble port heads and have them ported by Fox Lake, they are outside of Akron Ohio.

Stick with stock 96-98 Cobra exchaust cams, not the 99 cams or any SHM stuff. and use 2001 Lincoln Navigator intake Cams.

Run like the wind away from a stroker motor, especially with a blower or N2O, the ring packaging is bad for high cylinder pressures.

Have the intake extrude honed and go with a single blade throttle body.

Put a Novi 2000 on it with an air to air cooler.

Run 15-17 psi of boost and you will make 600 at the tires and be durable. and drive like a basic car till you go WOT:o
That's what I'd did.

I have built this exaxt setup for a 1998 LSC and will dyno tune this next weekend and the car will probably have close to 550RWHP on pump gas daily driver.
