I was watching the news yesterday as they interview an astonaut (sp) who was describing what it was like to blast off inthe space shuttle.

He said (paraphrase):

"Blasting off in the spaceshuttle is like being a hamberger on the grill with somebody pressing down on you with a spatula squezing out all the juices"

:D Yes! That sums it up nicely. Thats the feeling we're after.

Hehe, honestly, I wouldn't mind acceleration that gets into the realm of scary, but you'd not get me on a rocket for anything. Airplanes? You bet. I'd fly anything they'd let me get in the cockpit of. No worries there. But rockets? Not on your life (or mine). :)
