Hello all, new owner here and been trying to soak up all the posts for tips/ideas/mods etc. So far I'm completely satisfied with the car...my first time out of a truck in 4 vehicles. I cried when I had to give up my 67 Camaro, but this thing more than makes up for it. Got a question for you all...does anyone know of a shop in southern GA (Valdosta area) that will do a performance tune for me(Excalibrator2, etc.), or is there anyone near me with one that would do a tune for me for a reasonable amount of cash? I hope this isn't a "taboo" request, I'm a biker also and we have "tune-up" gatherings from time-to-time for our bikes in like manner. The only add-on I have currently is a JLT Cold Air intake. I'm mainly looking to adjust the shift points to eliminate the gear searching and maybe richen up the WOT fuel a little. Thanks for any replies.

Thanks, I didn't realize Reinhart was so close. I'm in Orange Park quite often when my unit goes to Camp Blanding for training.

Welcome! Glad you're enjoying the MM... those first gen Camaros were some of my very favorite Chevies, so I can see why you'd miss it.

I just bought a basic Xcal from Lidio at Alternative Automotive and it made my car much, much happier... especially the psycho shift patterns! I know the Xcal2 is sexier, but I really didn't think I was going to come up with a better tune than the pros.

I think you'd be well served by any of the tunes available from the sponsors here... I found lots of happy customers before taking the plunge... I only regret not doing it sooner!

Take care,

Greg

Welcome to the MM brotherhood. :cool4:

I am currently rehabbing the powertrain on my 67 RS. it's comng out sweet. as for my MM, a full header hi-flow cat , x-pipe exhaust and stainless magnaflows. (from Kooks) is in the works.
DEf look at the supercharger posts around here. ther are multitudes of upgrades, so be prepared to spend some hard earned $$$.

good luck.

Welcome aboard. I'm paying Dennis a visit this weekend to get an XCal2, dyno tune and an intake spacer.
He has done right by me. You can't go wrong.
