What are the steps you are follwing? Did you post at the SCT forum? Sometimes they are pretty quick with answers.

All I am doing is plugging the tuner in while the car is off, and then I am selecting a program..... it tells me 'please wait...' (I think) and then says FEPS failure.

so anyway I talked to Lidio and he said that problem hasn't come up on any of the tuners... im sending the tuner back and lidio is covering shipping costs... at least its good customer service!!! the black beast will have to run with alternative tuning another day....

Just got mine from Reinhart this week. One of my kids is a mechanic, so I enlisted him to do the hook up and flash. Dennis Reinhart's program made a noticable difference in the low end performance. I have no place to check out the top end, but I've sure had fun with the improved performance of the car for the last few days. Thank you, Dennis!

Haven't touched it since. Goto: www.sctflash.com (http://www.sctflash.com)

edit: Nevermind, I just checked my instructions. They say to turn on the car after the flash. There was someone else that posted at the SCT forum. He has the same error. There wasn't an answer posted yet though.

They have some tutorials there on how to use the new Xcalibrator 2.

The Xcal2 TELLS YOU what to do step by step.

You start off with the keys - IN YOUR HAND- and connect your Xcal2
to the DLC connector in your vehicle.
Scroll down to 'Program Vehicle' and press SELECT.
'Program Option" will display.
Scroll for either 'Custom Tune' or 'Return to Stock' and press SELECT
'Select Tune' will display.
Scroll to select the tune you want to program and press SELECT
Then just follow the prompts
