That's the best adjective I can come up with for the sound of my Marauder with the Kooks kit installed. I'd have wrote sooner, but man I'm just having too much fun driving it around now. Sweet Kit, I'd give it a 10. I'll write more later, gotta drive again. Only downside so far, my fuel mileage is way down, between doing the "muffler rap" on the phone to family and friends, cruising the beach in 2nd gear for the full effect, to just "growling" at every 'stang that goes by. Even my spouse is thouroughly impressed.

Absolutely!! since I've installed the Kooks headers and bolt-on exhaust system, I've had so many people tell me that my car sounds fantastic w/out me even asking them for their opinion.

Paul, would you say it's the WAY you're driving and not the fault of the headers that's caused the lowering of fuel economy? :drive:

I think so!
The last trip out to Grand Rapids my MM even with all the anti-economy mods yielded me 23 mpg. Probably the LAST time, but I was pleased none the less.

It's definately the way I'm driving right now. Keeping it in 2nd gear on the beach strip, pedal mashing when anyone is looking, and calling people on the phone to let them hear it. I figure when I do that (the phone calls), I'm averaging 0 mpg. If and when the newness wears off, the mileage will return to normal. In a day or two, I'll post about the install.
