Transforming this car into lightswitch fast acceleration,And adding 130#'s of weight to the front of the car has balanced it out quite nicely.:D
The extra weight has improved the handleing.

Im not big on the push bumper. But I always thought it was cool how it reminded me I was looking down the front site of my Glock :D

I have always toyed with the idea of a push bumper on my Crown Vics and Marauder. My wife won't let me do it though. She is afraid that if we had one, SHE would use it on someone. :) I would like to know though, did installing it require any drilling of holes in the frame or cutting on the bumper cover, or was it an easy bolt-on install?

285s fit all around
the bars are from Setina
www.setina.com (http://www.setina.com/) mine is the PB400 in black aluminum, no cutting required. I emailed joannap@setina.com for the mounting instructions before I bought. I can forward them to you, just post your email.

Hi, Wes!!!
The actual weight of the aluminum skid plate for the Crown Victoria is
30#-40#, but it is considered "oversized" by UPS, so it is shipped at a
higher 70# weight. We also have a transmission plate available for the
Crown Victoria. There should be no problem changing the oil filter.
Have a
great day!

Hello Joanna now I am interested in the skid plates for the crown vic.
How much do they weigh & can I change the oil filter with the aluminum
one on the vehicle.

How did it help the handling? More right foot to balance the understeer?:D

If the MM is nose heavy already, woudlnt it make sense to add 100# to the rear instead, i.e. closer to a 50/50 weight balance?
I would imagine (and having driven some vics with push bars) that the general nature of adding more weight to the front of the car would cause it to plow more....

Yes but I don't feel like moving the battery. My car is about 55/45 % front to rear with the NAAKE coilovers right now.

Yes again but with 285mm on the fronts she will turn in with a vengence. Its my corner exit that I want to pick up the pace:burn:

That alone doesn't neccessarily make it wrong to install those bars on your front bumper since it's a personal prefference thing, but this thead kind of began with the suggestion that more weight up front will improve the Marauder's handling, and that just cannot be true. But then again perhaps Bradley was joking about that in his first post.
