There's nothing better in life that owning a Marauder, beating a drum, and wearing a kilt. Women love men in skirts, the most often asked question is..."what are you wearing under it". What a great icebreaker!
My replies differ, depending on the audience. #1 is..."shoes and socks". #2 is..."on a good day, lipstick", and #3 (and this gets the most responses)..."there's only one way you can find out, how bad do you want to know"?

Yo, Bunny, got any pics from our fundraiser last year?Mac, don't forget about the bagpipes :). Love listening to the bagpipes and drums :D at the festivals. One of our local radio station had a few members of a Scottish pipes & drum team on last week. They were talking about the kilts and then one of the guys "mooned" they radio staff. Next thing you hear was one of the radio staff females said "OMG, the long time question as finally been answered. He just mooned us by raising his kilt and he had nothing on underneath". :rolleyes:

Let the wind blow high, Let the wind blow low;
Down the street in my Kilt I'll go;
All the lassies shout hello;
Saying "Donald where's your trousers"!

http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=72 33 This isn't the pic I was thinking of, Mary, but it works here too. I just wish I kept my mouth closed.
Women get crazy over men in Kilts, y'all judge for yourselves...
They all ask, but few really want to know for sure, and that's the bet when you wear a Kilt...

Angus, brave lad that he was, felt tired an' lay doon under a tree and fell fast asleep.
A bonnie lassie come along, and all her life she'd been wonderin' what it was the laddies were a-wearin' under their kilts.
She lifted his kilt gently, and och such a sight she had never seen! She tied around it a blue ribbon from her hair and went on her way.
When Angus awoke he felt the call of nature, lifted his kilt, and looked doon. Och such a sight! Then he said: "Laddie, I nae not whaer ye ha' been, nor what ye ha' been doin', but I'm powerful glad ye ha' won first prize!"

Saw a t-shirt being worn with a kilt one time. Across the front it was simply printed 'My wife's lipstick'
Funny how long it takes most people for that to register......

They always ask "what's worn under yer kilt?"
Nothing is worn under my kilt, evrything is in perfect working order!
The Dunedin, FL Games in April are very good and the Orlando Games in Winter Springs, FL in January also.
I'm a drummer. Not enough fingers to be a piper. Not enough hot air either!

Here is a hypathetical situation:
Suppose you are performing with your buds with the pipes and the drums and someone like this is performing on stage with you, what problem will arise?

Well first off, not every one who wears a kilt plays the Bagpipes or drums.
But to answer your question. The Drummer usually has his drum, and all others have the sporran.
That pretty much helps keep things in place.....
what's your Tartan?

I'm the club's resident foreigner. I'm actually from Scotland, only been here in the US since 96. I am a very proud kilt owner and wearer. The ladies love 'em. Clan Buchanan. What about the rest of you? :bagpipe2:

Thanks....for the last 3 years I've had a pic of a Marauder as my desktop wallpaper, but now no more. Aye carumba.
so as not to get off topic, I too have been a kilt wearer, most recently sporting the Royal Stewart.

I wear the kilt of Seaforth Highlanders mostly, because I was once. Sometimes the Blackwatch, as my Grandfather was.
