Strangest thing happened this afternoon....I went to put my 03MM from the driveway into the garage because there was some bad weather coming in. It started normally and then the interior fan went straight to HIGH blowing air thru all the vents. I pushed the OFF button on the A/C Control Panel but it just kept blowing. I turned it back ON and then turned the fan speed thumbwheel to LOW but it kept blowing on HIGH anyway. I checked all the electrical connectors and vacuum lines but everything was OK. The only thing that stopped it was by pulling out the Interior Fan Relay from the Power Distribution box next to the battery. Has this happened to anyone else before and how was it fixed?

Your fan motor controller is shot. I just had mine replaced under warranty.

I also had my controller replaced a couple months ago. Don't have the part number handy, but the controller is located in the engine compartment, on the right side firewall. My Ford dealer had it in stock and it took him about ten minutes (perhaps longer with a hot engine) to replace it.
