:D Well, the Secretary of State Office of </FONT></FONT></FONT>Illinois</FONT><FONT face=Verdana> has done it up royal this time.
<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com[img] /><st1:State><st1:place><font face=" /><st1:State><st1:place><FONT face=Verdana><FONT size=2><FONT face=Verdana>Illinois</FONT></FONT></FONT></st1:place></st1:State><FONT face=Verdana><FONT size=2><FONT face=Verdana> allows you to register antique motorcycles at a reduced rate. The logic is the same as for antique cars. They don't really get driven that much so there is a reason to let you have a reduced license rate.
Well, the geniuses in </FONT></FONT></FONT><st1:State><st1:place><FONT face=Verdana><FONT size=2><FONT face=Verdana>Illinois</FONT></FONT></FONT></st1:place></st1:State><FONT face=Verdana><FONT size=2><FONT face=Verdana> decided to do some new graphics on the antique bike plates; they changed them.
I got my first new graphics plate today. The good news is that it looks nice. The bad news is that it is the size of a car plate.
When I called </FONT></FONT></FONT><st1:City><st1:place><FONT face=Verdana><FONT size=2><FONT face=Verdana>Springfield</FONT></FONT></FONT></st1:place></st1:City><FONT face=Verdana><FONT size=2><FONT face=Verdana> to tell them of the error, the person answering the phone told me that they made ALL OF THE ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLE plates the size for a car. They thanked me for calling them, but advised me that they are going to have to redo the entire batch.
Aren't you glad that we have such accurate civil servants working for us????
Don't you wish you could send them anywhere else on the planet???</FONT></FONT></FONT>
