Just got my KDW2s from the tire rack installed today......All I can say is niiiiiiiiiice!!!! Not only do they look killer, thay handle incredibly!!! My brother in law asked if I had my rear rims widened. I wasnt able to install my Eibachs due to lack of funds, but that will come next week or so. Total price was 642.00 shipped from the Tire Rack. Extra 100 for mount, balance, and alignment. I highly reccomend these instead of the KDWS. I drove home in heavy rain (hurricane) and they hugged sharp cornering and never slipped once. To anybody considering a new tire setup, this is where its at!!!

Smokie, you can check my gallery for pics of KDW2s also. They have given me no problems so far. I am no tire expert, but DR likes 'em, and that's enough endorsement for me. They seem to do just fine in the wet weather.

Just an update on the tires....I was able to "test" my tires this weekend. WOW!!! I can honestly say that these tires handle incredibly. They hug the road without a sqeal or slip. The ride is smooth and the "luxury feel" is still there. I will never put another set of KDWS' on my car again. I give them a 10.

They do look like a much more aggressive street tire. Congratulations!

I put the KDW2s on my car only because I couldn't find the stocks, and I'm glad I did now. Awesome looking, awesome performing. :P

I recently bought the wife a 2000 Mustang GT 'vert. Tires are in good shape now, but who knows how long they'll last? ;) Tires spin a lot more than on the Marauder. (uh oh!) I was trying to price out KDW2s for it, the size on it now is 245/45 17 inch Continental something or others. I was chagrined to find that BFG doesn't seem to make then in that size. :(

I was in the same boat, couldn't afford fronts.
Handles better than it did on the kdw's. Some have reported problems in the rain, but I haven't had any problem.

I need tires too and am thinking KDW2. Is anybody watching rear tire wear compared to the KDWS? Which model is better? What PSI, are you running, etc.

Stock rears = Junk/burnout only tires @ 14k - 38 psi.
255/55 KDW2 Rears - 16k so far, treadwear is great, 40 psi.
As far as performance difference, do a search, each user has their own opinion on it.

I think the KDW 2 perform a whole lot better than the KDWS, particularly in wet weather. I've been running mine at 40 PSI. So far it appears the tires are wearing evenly, but its only been about 6000 miles.
There is only one down side, and maybe I'm just imagining it. It seems like when its wet the tires just pickup and slap dirt all over the sides of the car. Every time it rains there is a trail of dirt right behind each of the wheels on the body of the car. I don't recall this happening with the KDWS, or at least not to this extent.
