Yeah, it shares the platform with the Pontiac Solstice. The Pontiac is popping up around here like a flea infestation.

As someone already said... Solstice with a different badge. I didn't get close enough to a Solstice at the MVIII but I sort of liked it. Wife has a Miata (which is more fun than a barrel of monkies) and this is in the same class! I liked to see both this and the Solstice up close. I am feeling a test drive coming on...

I just read the AutoWeek review. They liked it. About 400 lbs more than the Miata, with a few more hp. It does have more interior room, which is nice, because my fat butt don't work in the Miata, and they're much fun! GM insiders say that more power is coming soon. I like the looks of the Sky better than the Solstice.

Nice looking. Would like to see a v6 with auto trans in it. Looks fun, though.

Its rear wheel drive.

Little roadsters are not exactly my cup of tea, but think this one is pretty well executed. And quite a bargain.

In that case, it ain't all that bad. :P Give Honda and Mazda some competition.

If I squint, the front end looks a little like the wife's RX8- That's kinda cool...

But couldn't own one...Haggis said it all...Mazda=Ford...Saturn=GM.

I keep forgetting all the companies that are tied to Ford. Makes you wonder what is what nowadays.

Ford owns a controlling majority of Mazda which I believe is much less than 50%. From an engineering perspective, it seems Mazda controls Ford. Fords midsize vehicles are or will be based on the Mazda6.
