Thanks! :bows:
man,.. I've been looking these Drift R's for 2 years,.... This is the first time I've seen 'em mounted on a Marauder.
Now I really want them in black with the polished lip! :cuke:

With tires (road hazard warranty) Rims, lugs, mounted balanced.. out the door... $1,975.
$350 to get the rear rims widened by Weldcraft.
Total $2325.
But if you do it piecemeal it doesn't seem so expensive.
I bought the rims....
Week later I get them widened.....
Three days later I order the tires.....
Three days later I get them mounted....
Two weeks from now I will get the Credit Card bill

yup,. I figured about that much (around 2K) I'm thinking about 18x8's for the front and 18x9's in the back. I don't think I'll get mine widened though.... how much did they say to powdercoat the insides?
Looks great man! Thanks for being the trailblazer!
Hopefully I should be able afford this by next summer!

Looks great!!
Do they come in chrome? If I had a black MM, I'd be right behind you in this mod! Very "Cobra Mustang" looking. :2thumbs:

They do not come in chrome tho Group A did have a set that was chromed. They looked very sharp... but would be expensive depending on who you had do the chroming. Another issue is the preparation of the wheels leaves an irregular surface. When I got very close to the chrome rims I could see minor imperfections (almost like fisheye) but Jeff at Group A had to point it out for me initially. As with most things, the sky is the limit if the funding is adequate! :P

Man I thought those were great rims but they seem to have too much lip. Are you sure they're 18's?

Well I guess they could be 17s .. but 18" Nittos fit pretty snug on them...

Nice looking, glad you kept with the five-spoke motif. That much cash (or credit :)) will get me a DR stage on kit installed instead though. Wife and I were talking about it this weekend. She said we might buy it for HER birthday in May. I said, "How come could I buy something for MY car for YOUR birthday? How could I get away with that?". She said , "I think I enjoy driving the Marauder even more than YOU do!". Keep in mind, I just bought her a shiny black 2000 Mustang GT convertible that she just LOVES. What more can you ask for in a wife? :)

They look good. Can you take a closer picture inside of the wheel where the rears were widened?

Those look really good, for some reason they really make the car look like a Cobra Vic.

I will try and remember to do that tonite.... it is a nice weld line (actually dual lines). They cut the rim... put in a 1.5" band and weld 'em back up. Very nice work.
I am considering painting the inside of the rims much as I did my factory rims. Just have decided on that yet.

That's the first set of aftermarket rims I saw that I think looks nice on the Marauder.

I love the deepdish look to :)
I didn't think it was possible with our backspacing/offset.
Now to find a set of Torque Thurst style rims that look as good.
