After the big blackout I bought a crank radio. The Grundig FR200 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000083CUA/qid=1125588955/sr=8-2/ref=pd_bbs_2/102-0690281-3932167?v=glance&s=home-garden&n=507846) Is pretty handy when there is no power and the reception is good enough that I use it in the garage. One other neat feature is that it uses cordless phone batteries that are easily replaceable.

But, Daaaannn ... if there's no power, who are you gonna listen to, since the broadcasters won't have any power either? :rolleyes:

Anyway, it's a lousy price, 'cause I know some guys up in new ... york city, who can give you a helluv a deal on one. ;)

I've been watching the NOLA TV stations on the web. They have power. Some of them might not have antennas though.
