Would these wheels look allright on a marauder? I know there 17's but the offset is pretty close to a stock marauder wheel. Are there any disadvantages to running a 17inch wheel compared to the 18 inch wheel? I need some wheels bad! I about have the marauder roadworthy and it has just plain black steel wheels on it now.Wheel (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-06-MUSTANG-BULLET-WHEELS-17x9-CHROME-BULLITT-2005_W0QQitemZ7997346835QQcate goryZ43957QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem )

I knew of a former Buckeye member that ran 17" wheels on her car in the winter. I never saw them. They had snows mounted on them.
Apparently they worked fine on her car. It was an '03 w/o traction control. I want to say that if you keep the 28" height (which can be achieved even with 16" wheels), it should...I say should...look ok, and ride ok.
As far as the wheels you link. To each his own. Don't base your choice of wheels on our opinions. You won't like the results. I personally don't like them...but then again...alot of folks don't like mine either.;)

Taker your wheels look badass :) Anyway, the wheels will look fine. Are they
for year round or just the Winter?

Year round. Cruz i love you wheels. I am either going to go with black chrome bullits, mustan mach 1 wheels chrome, or americn racing tourqe thrusts.

In my opinion...
1) Would they look alright? No. Chrome has a different color from polished aluminum, bluer, plus I don't like plating period, it isn't durable. But mainly it won't be a Marauder rim. I have six, two of them widened that have the Nitto 555Rs' on them for the track and for shows, the other four stock for use with stock sized tires for awesome performance through the twisties.
2)Disadvantages? Yes. You can't use any of the fantastic 14" front rotored brake kits available. I love the performance of my KVRs' and would NEVER go back to the stock 12" brakes I had. Compared to my KVRs' they sucked, Big Time!

I like em, they look like those modern cragarsmake sure to post a photo when you put them on.
These are the ones I mean. Like a newer version of the cragar SS.

The ad says these wheels are correct size for the '05/'06 Mustang. If this is true, that's a 45mm offset, and they will fit the Marauder. With respect to tire size, pick what you want. As long as the difference between the front and the rear is less than 1.50" in diameter, or, tire height, you should have no problems with on-board electronics. Right now, I'm using 245/45 fronts and 255/45 rears, with no problems, and I have used quite an assortment of tire sizes in the past, shop carefully.
The style reminds me of my all time favorite, Cragar SS, and they look cool, but IMHO, nothing beats the original MM wheel. Moreover, if you come to not like them sometime down the road, I'm sure you will be able to turn them around to a future '05/'06 Mustang owner. Happy motoring.

I love that style wheel (Cragar SS/ Torque Thrust).
And I think they would look great on a Marauder.
I believe that 18 inch rims are also available in that, style as well as" deepdish".
If you do go with a 17" rim make sure that you keep the same overall tire height as the original tires to avoid any problems.
Make sure to post pics when your car is done :)

Petrograde,
Here's your photochop.
* But please note that the two pictures (car, rims) I used to create this were taken from two different angles, so the perspective is way off making the rims look a lot flatter then they would actually be in real life. *
