Hello All! The trip is quickly approaching, so we had better start getting ready. If you are coming, make sure you book your room in St Thomas for Thursday night to Sunday morning (June 12-15th). You can find this information by going to the web page (http://www30.brinkster.com/dftaylor/cvn/index.html) . make sure you book soon so we don't run out of space. And room with people, it makes it more fun, and cheaper. Another thing, for those of you who have booked your room(s); please E-Mail the name that you have used to make your reservations as well as your confirmation number(s) if you have it (them). This information will be used to get you the special rate that we were granted with the hotel.

Also, if you are attending Dearborn, make sure that you purchase event tickets from the 100th Anniversary Celebration Page (https://fordcentennialreg.com) . I'm sure you'd hate to miss out.

Oh and for those of you who will be convoying with us, check out the Vehicle ID page and get your 3 digit ID request in to me soon. First come First served. You need a vehicle ID to convoy with us, there are simply too many cars that will be in the line to be able to distinguish between 3 different Mikes or Daves. :)

More updates to come soon.

Having attended this trip last year, I can highly recommend it to all interested. The Mass contingent will meet up at the Charlton Rest Area on the Mass pike and from there it's a real hoot of a ride. Seriously, I can't remember having a better time than this trip. There's a small 1/4 mile racetrack nearby, and arrangements have been made to have this to ourselves for a few hours prior to it's regular opening. If I remember correctly $10 Canadian to run as many times as you can line 'em up. Dave (ChevSub89) has done a lot of great legwork to sweat the details so participants don't have to. Last year for a time we had an 18 car convoy going, and it was great fun. We use the cheap, easily available FRS radios you can pic up at Wal-Mart to communicate. These need no license, and work great. The hotel is within 3 miles of the ST. Thomas Plant, the plant tour is excellent and informative, and you can see the Marauders and CV/GM/PI rollin' down the line. FoMoCo hospitality is great, and they reserve a section of the parking lot so we can all park together. Any member of this board wanting to go, check the STAP webpage and shoot Dave an e-mail, you won't regret it.

Best,

Paul
