What is with these guys?
I'm late for my tee time, I go thru an intersection with a Honda something in front of me . There is a short passing lane ( 1/4 Mile ) in front of him so I pull to the left and slide on by at about 35 mph.
Just as I get past the Honda, this idiot in a Z4 ( is that right?) is on my bumper big time. This is 6 in the morning, I just want to get to the golf course.
Anyway, I pull right (this is two lanes only) and keep accelerating to 110 K's.
I look in the rear view and this fool is still in the left lane , when the solid line has been in effect for at least 3 to 4 hundred yards.
Bastage is on it hard, I hesitate and then say as====e you called it GAME ON
Go pedal down ,suddenly wide awake, he's there for about 2=3 seconds and then fades, slow and then the anchor comes out.
I slow to about 100k , but he doesn't want to play anymore, finds an exit and is gone.
What a great way to start your day, golf? Oh yeah that;s where I was going. :banana2: :banana2:

Great Kill!!!
Nothing like a fine German driving machine for Breakfast!!! :D
He probably turned off to head over to the BMW service department and complain that his slick little BMW got toasted by a big American Sedan!

I do not normally post kills, but as long as we are stomping pricks in BMW's, I thought I would chime in. While going to work today, a beta male in a bright yellow BMW 325 i, was weaving in and out of traffic until he saw my MM. Perhaps he thought I was Law Enforcement so he slowed down and matched my speed (65 mph). I guess he knew that Law Enforcement does not have 5% tint all around, so he decided to step on it and continue his weaving ways. Well, I decided to get up on his Bavarian ass and pass him with only 1\2 throttle. Needless to say, he looked over as I passed, (not that he could see me) with a modicum of disbelief! I can't wait until September 24th, so I can post some kills regarding worthy opponents! :D

Been driving around town for a week now with my new Nittos on while I wait for delivery on the KDW2s next week. Several times I've been at the light next to one of those so-called "performance sedan" BMWs' and Mercedes' and almost every time when they jump on it, I'm leaving them (who said this car lacks off-the-line acceleration?) and they always let off just about the time they get a glimpse of those Nittos'.
Instantly they realise they've been...
...OUTCLASSED!
I love it when that happens. :D

Last week I just was challenged by what I'd consider a very unlikely candidate. It was a BMW 745 which I don't believe are produced anymore. But they're probably the only ones that ever caught my eye because of the different tail light scheme that they had. Anyway, I'm driving at my usual 68-70 MPH down the highway late at night, and this car comes up behind me, so i hit my turn signal and move over. But instead of passing me, the guy gets right on side of me, and stays there for a few hundred feet. i finally look over at him, and see that it's a beemer. but I still don't expect any race, however I'm beginning to get curious what he wants. So I give it a little gas and let off.
So he takes it as being a race, and he hammers it and passes me. I was completely off guard since I wasn't expecting that, so I didn't even have the O/D clicked off, and I wasn't going to hammer the go pedal with it on (not good). So by the time I clicked it off, he already had a good 3 car length lead on me. I had to wait a second to feel the O/D disengage before I could put the hammer down. But then I finally was able to while that beemer was getting away. His car was very quiet, so I know that he heard my Kooks headers and straight-thru Magnaflow mufflers screaming as I began closing the gap very quickly.
I breezed by him no problem and once I put about 5 car lengths on him, I can see that he gave up and that his car began fading way back, so I then returned to my former cruising speed of 70 MPH. About another 1,000 feet up the road I then saw him flashing his Hi-beams on and off at me as he took the next exit off the highway as if to signal to me that he acknowledged my win.

I drove a Z4 last year in one of those Chrysler test drives. It was supposed to be competition for their Turbo PT Cruiser convertible. The Z4 didn't have as much acceleration as the PT Turbo (which had too much torque steer) but it was faster than a Beetle convertible. :D I was not impressed at all with the Z4, especially with it's price tag.

Not to mention the God-Awful, chopped up styling on the sides of the Z4...Looks like the fenders and door panels were in an accident right from the factory! :puke:

I finally saw one of those on the way home yesterday - passed me in the highway (I wasn't driving - was riding in a friend's car)
Can anyone but a midget drive one of those?

A good friend of mine has a Z4. I've never driven it or raced him. Rides in the car are fun because of the convertible/nice weather, handling, and the acceleration is enjoyable.
It is a big PITB to get in and out of it. You essentially fall into the seat and dont have much to grab to pull yourself out, especially if you are holding a drink, etc.
