Michigan International Speedway will open the track to people who would like to drive their own cars or motorcycles on the 2-mile oval next week to raise money for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
The "Drive For Relief" will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 5:30 to 7 p.m. next Friday for anyone making an-site donation to the American Red Cross relief effort. All laps will be at controlled speeds.
