I finally had the opprtunity to run my car on a dyno to have some idea how the Trilogy Kit I have has affected my car, I am posting a before dyno and an after dyno, the dyno used for both tests is the same one at the Reinhart Automotive facility.

We sure had fun today, didn't we? :burnout:

All you need now is a set of Drag Radials! With the impressive numbers from that dyno sheet, I'm not a bit suprised you were "traction-challenged."

Smokie were you running on OEM or the KDW (2)? Also what RPM range were you launching from?

Smokie were you running on OEM or the KDW (2)? Also what RPM range were you launching from?KDW2's, is a street tire on stock rim, I was launching from idle....and doing a very poor job of it as you can tell by my 60' times.:)

Congrats man!! Now get them sticky nittos on! You'll be glad you did.

As far as launching is concerned, I sit there at the line with my foot resting on the gas, no reving. When it is time to go, I ease into it then nail it. That was with street tires.

I have not been to the track w/ the widewheels and nittos yet.

My wife had I what I thought was the perfect launch going..she walk it out without wheelspin for about 25' then she nailed it...they broke loose badly.

Get some tires and get that 60 foot under 2.0 and you'll be in the loooow 13s or high 12s for sure.

Congrats on the getting to the track with your SC

Great time at the track today. It was hot, very hot but fun.
This was my first time ever running with any type of drag tire. I put my widened wheels and 305 Nitto 555R's on. Man did they hook up! There is no better feeling than traction, well almost :) .
I ran:
12.94 @105 MPH 1.84 60' time.
This is with Trilogy, 4.10 gears and K&N.

I can't wait to run this in the cooler fall air.

Javier, with you running 106 MPH, you should be in the 12's for sure. You're just a set of tires/wheels away my friend! :)

Dropping over a second off your 1/4 mile time isn't too shabby considering you're having to work around a major traction problem now.

Time to get some fat drag radials and put all that torque to the good use! :D

Don't forget to tell everyone what the track temp was at 3 pm. It was 96 at 10:15 this morning, and 121 at 3pm. It was just scorching hot. Good time had by all and got to put faces with the names.
Nice meeting everyone, finally.

I started with 34 psi, dropped to 30, dropped to 28psi, I need practice, having to wear a borrowed closed face track helmet in a closed car that was 118 degrees inside was a bit nauseating.

I don't like making excuses, the car is awsome and performed very well, it stands at 13.4 right now and you don't get timeslips for potential...I have to get better.:D

I have a pair of good friends that are N/A and run faster or the same as me....I need to get better...I believe I will.

On a more positive note my dyno session exceeded ALL my expectations, the amount of HP my car made was in my opinion exceptional (404.9) for a car with a T-Kit, shorties, x-pipe,magnaflows and a PHP airbox. I was impressed with the torque, not the peak; but the way it rises in a nearly straight vertical line when the gas was hit at 2000 rpms to about 350 ft/lbs, it is almost instant. It may help to explain why is so hard to hook up.:D

Thanks, I had a great time.

Let's not over-look Zack's blistering 11.6x run in absolutely unbearable heat! That car ran between 11.6x and 11.9x all day long. Most impressive!

Most impressive! :up:Chuck I agree, when it comes to the Marauder, few people know the car and how to run it better than Zack (subject to endless arguments of course) The facts are like this: Zack ran in 100+ temp and 84% hum. in the 11's all day long...I was there...I saw it....end of story.:)

PS: Car looked flawless, sounded flawless and most important...ran flawless.

Smokei, congrats. Ya gatta get the widened rims. It's just money! You will love the 1.9 60ft times and your wife can keep it on the ground on the street.

Kindest regards. JB

Don't like to make predictions that sound boastful, I believe I will be able to get the 1.9 60' on street tires. I ran at the track over 70 passes N/A and I have a total of 4 passes S/C, my right foot needs to be re-educated.:)

I think the times zack was putting down had a lot to do with his bejeweled grill, its so cool, it lowered his temps, thereby lowering his times.

so the lesson is zack grills lower your ET.

Curious to know how much power Trilogy #1 makes"NOW" on the treadmill.
I was witness to Jerry Barnes' record breaking 11.29(posted in timeslips page)@ Norwalk.
Again a month later, Mikes Merc drove the same car in Joliet at an NMRA event, shattering Jerrys Record, running 11.20.
Jerry and his enterage traveled nearly four hundred miles to race.:coolman: Very humorus comments from the spectators:
"Look at that, The big Barge has to wait to chase the little car down"

My wife had I what I thought was the perfect launch going..she walk it out without wheelspin for about 25' then she nailed it...they broke loose badly. When I wrote this I had no idea there was a video of this particular run, I watched a video posted by Mike aka Crimzon a couple of times, showed once to my wife and she noticed that was her driving, me watching on the left.

Notice the first tire squeal is the Mustang, Mayra is walking the Marauder out without wheelspin perfectly for about 1 1/2 car lenghts, then she nails it and you hear the tires break loose, she slows down and nails it again. She beat the Mustang, but the ET was not good.
