I have a few questions for those of you that installed your decklid covers.

1) Is the lid just a flat board, or is it contoured to the highs and lows of the underside of the trunk lid?
2) If it is flat, how big are the gaps between the board and the metal underside?
3) Did you end up drilling your own holes for mounting?
4) and does anyone have good picks of a mounted cover?

I am going to attempt to make my own cover, and was looking for a little insight on the project.

Thanks,
Bowman9

1) It is a flat board, cover is glued to it.
2) Don't know... can't see behind the board now that it's mounted.... two of the upper side holes use a 1/2" spacer and longer push rivets.
3) If I remember corectly, had to drill 6 holes and enlarge (to 1/4") 2 existing holes.
4) Will PM you the picture of a mounted liner.

I had to add a retainer in the middle at the bottom. It kept bowing out.

Didn't have any issues with mine bowing out. Been on for about 3 or 4 months. Here are the pics of it installed and not installed. There are 2 push rivets at the top 2 at the bottom and 2 on either side. The rivets are made to go in a 1/4 hole.
