I have undisputable proof that Mrs TR is the proud owner of a Marauder with a Friday (or maybe a Monday) build day. To see what was found DEEP down in the bowls of the engine bay click here. (http://www.ywave.com/~teamrope/pics/Fridaycar.JPG)

Yep! that is a cut strip of window adhesive. (The spoon was used for size comparison.)

My dad had a 78ish Bronco that had a terrible rattle in the driver's door. He took off the interior panel and discovered someone left a beer can inside the door. He was the original owner.

The myth about Monday or Friday build vehicles being of lower quality is an old wive's tale. I've seen all kinds of crap happen at plants any day of the week.

I had a 1995 Mustang GTS that was built on a friday. The only flaw that I had was a crossthreaded bolt on the strut tower brace.

I'd be more concerned if a Monday or Friday fell on the last day of the month. Remember the Michael Keeton movie "Gung Ho"?

"I thought it handled great!"-- Michael Keaton after test driving a "finished" car.

AH yes, I remember that movie. It's a classic! Loved the 3 foot test drive. :D
