Drove a 2004 today. That car is a brute to drive. I described it to the dealer as a sucker punch compared to the MM. I am not sure if I want it because it is rough. The acceleration did not seem as aggressive as a Trilogy I plus it was loud between the blower and the trans.

The acceleration did not seem as aggressive as a Trilogy I plus it was loud between the blower and the trans.It's my understanding the there's a Saleen 281 S that's rated at 400 HP ( I guess that's at the crank) and another one that's rated at 500 HP. Which one did you drive? If it wasn't as fast as a Trilogy equipped Marauder is, then it must have been the 400 HP model since the standard Trilogized Marauders are rated at about 460 HP at the crank (380 to the wheels).

My dealer had 2 matching convertibles. one frayed belts and the other shredded and tossed enough of them to get lemon lawed.

Just my .02 and then some.

It was the 400hp model.
