This fool isn't going to be so easily parted with his money, but are you planning on going to SSHS5? That would be an awesome event to hold the smack down.

You're no fool, JD. I've seen both your car and his run under similar conditions. I think you'd take him.

I think it would be great if it actually took place, and the money makes it very interesting, also money has a way of undoing friendships......Billy called the rules and so be it.
I would prefer the stakes were something a little more friendly than cold hard cash, they should be something of value, something for the winners car maybe.... that just how I think.
Carry on gentlemen.....:burnout:

God takes care of fools, as respects material posessions my family and I lost none during Betsy, Camille, Andrew, Katrina and Rita.
What we lost cannot be bought, no amount of money or pity will bring back the dead or brutalized.
When I win this $1,000 it will go to The Salvation Army, because they give away stuff to people who need it.
If I lose it will be the most fun I ever had losing $1,000!
When is the Heavy Weight Shoot out.

Sailsman, I have pre-registered and I'll sell you my spot because I now cannot make it. As to the why I cannot... it will be posted shortly.
Sure wish I could have made this one too. Seems like all year that every MM vacation I have had planned has been cancelled because of something going horribly wrong. This one was no exception.
Let me know if you want my spot!

Well, I know four of us( me included) at least cannot --cause we don't have OEM engines...and the rest----his requirements may be hard to qualify for to meet to be no more than where or what he has--I think that is what is holding the offer up---my opinion --Tom

Um, re-reading my post I can see the way I phrased my comment could be taken the wrong way. Chuck got it right, the fool I was referring to is me. :o
I apologize if you took this the wrong way. But you're right, I feel God has watched out for me a good bit. Good thought about donating the proceeds to the Salvation Army though.

I didn't see any flames here. It's all in good fun, and besides, after the Darkside test, we're all family, right?
PS: I still think Charlie can take him. ;)

No one took up the challenge and it expired.
I brought it up as a slap in the face to the balless street racers. Want to do it like a man issue a challenge such as I did.
When I was a youngin, although we all had guns, we fought with our fists. At 50 plus I can still woop the ass of most of these sissys.
