Just found out this afternoon the reasons behind her feeling so run down and no energy to speak of is due to the cancer in her lung.
Spots are present in the lower lobe with a mass located in the upper.
The experts have fears of operating and are not for certain which direction to take until they learn more.
I told my wife to remain optimistic and to pray for her Mother Cherie and to be strong for her and her Father Gene.
Your prayers would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance, . .
Mike and Sandy.

I would like to sincerely thank everyone for your support during this difficult time! :)
Cherie is being checked out of the hospital today for a short while until further testing calls for her return.
My wife is at a loss of words from the overwhelming responses the membership has offered and extends her deepest thanks.
All of your prayers will be printed out for Cherie and our family to read upon our next visit with her.
Respectfully,
Mike and Sandy.

After many conflicting statements from the doctors, they have all come to an agreement that the cancer is now metastatic and is currently at stage 4.
Cherie has begun her radiation, as an attempt to see if this will have an impact on the cancer but hopes are fading.
Unless there is a miracle, about 6 months to a year are the doctors best guess.
God bless,
Mike and Sandy.

Done! Get a second and third opinion before starting any therapy. People survive lung cancer every day.

Mike and Sandy.Mike and Sandy: I lost my wife of nearly 33 years early this year to cancer. She was not able to make it but I know she is safely home in God's kingdom and everything is okay. I must tell you I took her to one of the foremost cancer centers in the Northeast and although my beloved didn't survive, I heard many stories of people given virtually no hope who years later are in remission and doing fine. Be optimistic. I will pray for your loved one.
