In case anyone was wondering, 24s do fit. Here is a customer of mine that sent me pics of his Crown Vic Police Interceptor.
Not really my cup of tea, but whatever floats your boat....

That thing now has more ground clearance than an Explorer!
Not a bad choice in style of rim, too big IMO, if you could tuck it into the fenders and keep a stock ridge height that's one thing. IMO when you start "lifting" your car because of your rim size you're going a tad overboard. :)
But if he's happy that's what matters.

Stupid IMO. He could drive over a basketball.

In the late 70's or early 80's in the C-L-V (cruztaker knows what I am talkin' 'bout) there was a brief trend where the cars were all jacked up to about as high as they could go.
They didn't have big rims, they were just jacked up front and back. Didn't last long though cause the cops started busting them for some kind of bumper height violation. Not sure, but the same may start happening to the big rim folks too.

Now if he did that in order to put 20" front rotors on.... :D
Otherwise, it just looks gaudy. AND dysfunctional, as in hurts the handling, braking, ride, etc.

For an oil change, all you need is a mechanics creeper, oil drop pan and a wrench.

He would have to install 5:89 gears to keep his final drive ratio close to anything normal.....
If he still has 3:55s or, god forbid, 3:27s his 0-60 time could be measured with a sun dial!!!

The height is just right for 2-trackin through the woods or desert but it would need some mud/sand tires. Thinking outside the box. Improvise, adapt, overcome.

In the 60's the superstocker's used to be jacked up for weight transfer. Current engineering keeps the pro-stocks down low.
