My fiance was driving home from school today and was switching lanes on the Garden State Parkway in NJ. He didn't notice that the car in front of him had stopped and he smashed into the back of a 2005 Chrysler 300t. His grill ended up in the fast lane with people running over it. He needs the grill, one headlight, side marker light and the piece that is above the bumper on the hood but is not yet the hood. Does anyone know around how much he is going to need to spend to fix it? I'll try and attach a pic later because my computer is giving me a hard time.

Sorry about the accident, hopfully no one was injured.

For parts you can check with Ray the dealer a member of this site.
I don't think you can beat his prices.

That sucks.

Can I assume Martin & those in the other vehicle are ok ... being that wasn't brought up ?.

Hopefully Ray(TheDealer) will see this & chime in.

If not ... get in touch with him.

He'll be your best bet.

I used to live in Hamilton NJ ... so that word kind of "jumps" out at me, as well as I recall him saying he was going to get married.

And to confirm my suspicions ... I clicked on your profile to see your previous postings ..... & sure enough I was right !.

Glad to hear everyone is ok ..... I'm sure you guys will get fixed up soon enough.

Yea everyone it was me, looks like my member title is now more true than ever before. It's not that bad, just came at a bad financial time, and is more than a little annoying. I'll get some pics tomorrow morning and get them posted up here. Poor Marauder :(

Funny little side effect, the accident knocked out my grille and drivers side headlamp, now EVERYONE (besides me I haven't really heard it) swears that my car is louder somehow than before. I asked them howso do you mean? Is it the exhaust note that is louder, can you hear incresed engine noise, what? They say they think it's my exhaust although they can't put their finger on it. Also under heavy acceleration or highway cruising speeds i notice a slight CAI sound to the car now. Very interesting, although to be short lived to say the least, I am visiting an insurance adjuster wed morning and tomorrow afternoon i'm running all over the place getting estimates from various body shops, I will also be calling ray to see if he'd be willing to talk to Northeast's out of site body shop for me. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress.

It's about the people!

ps: Martin all ready checked in with me.

We'll have him up and running in no time:burnout:

Could it be because the air intake is right behind the driver side headlight?

Could it be because the air intake is right behind the driver side headlight? Makes sense to me.

Now the next time you wanna try the "Barry" mod ..... use some hand tools eh ? ... it's a lot less stressful.

;)

Just trying to lighten up a less than ideal situation.

Did I read this correct... Did you crash into a 300C? If so, does anyone else see the irony?

The 300C didn't even have a scratch!

Dark_Knight7096

It wasn't even a 300C, it was a step down. It was a 300 Touring AWD, and the 300 just had a couple of scratches on his rear bumper because my car was lowered in the front so i slid right underneath his rear. For some odd reason i can't get the pics i'm tryin to send to go to the comp, I took pics of the accident (3 of my car 1 of his) at the scene but my phone won't send them to my SN right now for some odd reason, i'm working on it and i will get them up to show you whatthe damage looks like, Jim will probably be the first to see it though.

I was thinking that, about the air intake right behind the light, looks like I have ram air now!!!!! The sound is enough to make me wanna get the JLT intake now, cause it def does sound louder, and if getting the JLT will makeit sound like that once it's fixed, i'm down!

Glad to hear you were not hurt in the accident. The Marauder can be fixed and with Bigdog backing you up no one is going to give you a hassle.

Wow, how strange, your car looks just like mine except red and your damage was on the opposite side, here are the pics:

This is the other guys 300, once again sorry about the poor quality

Not too much damage done to that 300 compared to mine, jeez, 300: 1, Marauder: 0. I just got out of work and i'm going around to a few body shops now to get estimates for the claims adjuster, also my father is a cop and works with a guy who is very close personal friends with the adjuster so he's gonna try to talk to him so he won't err on behalf of the insurance co, but make it more fair.

Looks like you went right under his bumper so that would explain the

no damage on his part. Does anyone know if those cars are BOF or Uni-body

construction?

Dark Knight,

Is you car lowered? This looks like it should have been a very minor accident. Your damage should be similar to the 300C.

What is it with you metro?

Why don't you just finally get rid of that CV of yours and get a Marauder......

What is it with you metro?

Why don't you just finally get rid of that CV of yours and get a Marauder...... My Vic is slightly faster than a bone stock Marauder. I'd be losing a lot of money switching to a Marauder and then spending money to upgrade a Marauder. It's a decent car but if I were to switch vehicles, I'd probably fancy a DCX Hemi 4-door sedan instead. If it were 3 years ago and I was looking for a new car, I'd probably have gone with the Marauder! :burnout:Hey you started it by asking, I'm just replying.

I'm glad everyone is ok though!!

You would be better off getting a low mile MM and S/C it. Thats if you

actually like the Marauder. (knowing your comments) But, if you like the

style of the charger, hell the world full of bad choices ;)
