Repair Clear Coat on Wheels!...

Did several searches and I don't think this is a repeat question...:)

My Marauder got a series of small, but deep scratches on the edge of the right front wheel rim ...about 6" along the edge...
The first day I drove it...I touched a curb...Marauder was a little wider than I though...:(
It's pretty easy to polish out the scratches with a dremal tool...
but obvoiusly the clear coat was cut through at each scratch...
Now the question...
Has anyone tried to touch-up a small area of the clear coat on their wheels and if so....what did you use...?
I talking about an area 1/4" wide by 6" long...

Your best bet is to have the wheel taken off and brought to an autobody

shop, or good detailing shop and having it wet sanded and buffed. I have a

similar problem, I might just get the whole wheel re-cleared.

At your auto parts store:
Dupli-Color Scratch Fix 2in1 - Clear Top Coat NG SF 125
Apply with brush or Pen.
