Cabin air temperature sensor. Used for monitoring the temperature in the car for the purpose of regulating heat and cool.

A little more than you asked for: The photo cell on the right side of the dash is for the temp control for heat loading. The sensor next to the red blinky LED on the left dash is for autolamps.
