A typical Sunday here. Got up, walked the dog, and made some coffee. Sat down in the office and fired up the computer and started flipping through the paper. Quite a nice morning-67 degrees. I turned off the A/C [for the first time since April] and opened the windows.

Glancing up at the calendar I realized it was a year ago today I picked up my car from Carfixer, after he installed the blower. It all still seems quite new to me, as I have yet to tire of the car or it's performance. [If a Trilogy kit is at all within your financial reach, my advice is to do it.] It was a pretty big decision to make, sure, but it was also one of the easiest and smartest. Definetly not the most practical decision I've ever made, as there's never a "good" time to spend a lot of money. It's changed my life forever. I've given parts to friends in Louisiana and Texas that I've never met. I've got friends all over the country thanks to this most irrational of decisions. I have the collective knowledge and support of the finest group of car guys ever to hoist a cold one. I've met people from around the corner and the corners of this country. I'm definetly the better for it.

By the way, in case you hadn't figured it out up there ^ I'm not talking about the blower , I'm talking about the car .

Also, there seems to have been a bit of a "rift" around here lately. It saddens me, but I have my own views on it: There is nobody on this planet I am closer with than my "brother". I love him more than anything and would crawl through a river of broken glass for him. But, I am quicker to get angry and criticize him more harshly than anybody else. Why? A couple of reasons. First, I know he can take it, and he knows I'm doing it because I care what happens to him. Second, I expect more from him than others. He's a better person and his held to a higher standard. He knows this, as he views me in the same light. Some of the worst "fights" I've ever been in have been with him. Yet, at the end of the day, all is well, and we carry on. Safe and secure in the knowledge nothing has changed, and we remain as close as ever.

I view my family on this site in the same light. Y'all know that, right?

One year with a Trilogy. There's no way in hell that smile will ever come off of your face. Also, thanx for the ride. I have not been the same since.

Thanks Chuck,
You, my Friend are one of a Kind!
You have a Friend in Chicago, who thinks your very special.
My first Trilogy install was @ blackforks.
You and Mr. Carfixer were called on several times to help with Instructional advice over the telephone.
You not only did the same for me, you sent me a PM that helped me a ton on my install.

On call 24/7, with a Trilogy install Manual handy!
Way to Represent! You and Claude over a dozen Installs!!!:toast:

I don't have a brother, One older sister.
She's way better than me, so it's hard for me to hold her to any higher standard! :o
If I did have a brother, I would want him to have your qualities!
Congradulations on one year!

You've got a life long amigo here in Maryland who would mortgage the castle if it meant helping you out! Not that it would ever happen since you are a fiscal conservative. But rest assured, if you asked, it would be done!:D

And you know it's the same here on this end. Anything. Anytime. Anywhere.

Well I do. I have your old intake powder coated sitting on my office floor as I type. It will be installed this week and my old intake will be offered up to someone who wants to do the same thing.

You can add me to the list of people who owe you a cold one. :D
