I'd love to see the mod list he's got!! That was one fast truck!

Good lord! It just looks so silly going so fast...thats rediculous. See all the smoke pouring out of the exhaust? Very impressive...I know some of the turbo upgrade kits for those trucks are rediculous. The mod list has to be a mile long to make a truck run that fast with all that drag of the lift, and the larger wheels/tires etc. You can do anything you want with enough money.

That's AWESOME . Diesel power technology for the everyday truck (and even cars) has come a LONG way. And the nice thing is they are relatively quiet these days.

If I was in the market for a tow vehicle it would be a newer F350 dually Crew Cab for sure. Do a Bully Dog or Banks package with a "flip chip" and call it a day.

Seen it before but always good to look at again.

Diesel + Nitrous + Propane + Chip = One fast truck. :D

My truck had a little over 42 lbs of boost with the DPPI Chip, Volant Ram Air and Bad Boys Diesel Toys Exhaust. Pretty mean, but everytime I look at the MM I forget :burnout::D

Cool vid!

Hard to believe that thing would be within a coulpe tenths Of the Fastest Marauder.
That truck sure blows a ton of soot!

WOW....I gotta get me one of those. It probably would have been a more fair race if the dually ran the track backwards to give the other guy a shot......NAAAAAAAAAAA no way in hell he had a shot

I can't imagine what would happen if he lost control. The barriers wouldn't keep him inside the track I don't believe.

I'm sure that he is in 4WD. I could not get my TD to launch nice in 2WD. It also appears he did not preload the T/C and bring the RPMs up to gain boost before the launch so his run could have been better?

I thought I did hear that TD loading up!

I know the guy racing him (white car)was intimidated, he couldn't find the starting line.
I can sure relate to that!

Just talked to one of my Powerstroke Diesel Buddies. That is a 96 Model Truck and at teh time of the race, was equipped with a cummins 12V motor. Truck currently has another motor in it.

Feel free to CLICK HERE... (http://www.southernpolyurethanes.com/hidden.htm)for a look at a much faster run...by a much faster truck.

Custom exhaust (with stacks) installed by a little place in Marietta, GA...called Grand Mufflers Auto & Truck Performance....

Good Job Todd! Those stacks sure gave that truck bling you could see from the nosebleed seats. :)

I went to Houston this weekend for my wife's 20 year HS reunion, and the way back to Lufkin, we passed that thing. In it's cage of course! The guy has a late model Freightliner FS65/Thomas bodied school bus that's been modified that he pulls it with. His "tractor" has the body shortened to about 5 rows of seats, with the rest of the bus body being something like a pickup bed. He had it at the "Night of Fire" at our local drag track about a month ago.

It's cool to me, because I'm the transportation director for our school district!
