Gents,
I have a question. Will a Marauder intake fit the long block assembly of a 04 Cobra? The goal is to have a forged bottom in from the Factory that is a plug and play application for a Marauder. My thoughts are not to slap a Trilogy but either a big single turbo system or two smaller ones. I figure a cobra bottom can take 15lbs and that should be all that is needed to turn 500 plus horses. Experts and novices alike please chime in and help me out.

I think it will, Big, but why, instead buying a long block, buy a short block and swap your heads & such, like our friend Joe Walsh did? Joe has a killer motor, for, I think, a lot less invested than buying an entire long block, heads and all. Let's face it, the big buck item in these motors has got to be the heads.:dunno:
A 15 psi turbo will probably put you over 600 ponies. Maybe well over with a little intake and exhaust work.
It would be equivalent to a SC'er at 18-19 psi, maybe more.
I am looking at a single turbo for my stock motor and it should be 460 at 9psi.

I guess you might have a point there...The thing I wanted was the forged internals...They can handle alot more boost when I finally get boosted.

Hey Big, I agree with Mike. Go with a stout short block and transfer the rest of your existing parts. You'll get a bulletproof motor for much less $$. Save the rest of the money for the additional mods.

It's sort of good to hear someone talking about trubos. I have been wanting to do this, too.
Has anyone here heard of a decent turbo system for the Marauders? I haven't seen a lot posted up about it.

This one is already developed. I have been talking them about it, different questions, head units, etc. There is a video in the video gallery. Not as detailed as I wanted, but OK. There is a dyno in the picture gallery I think.
I have been looking for a twin kit, but none are available. I have some inqueries out for a custom build.
I am about 80% sure I will go with this single.
Maybe we can get a deal if we purchase a couple of them. http://mercurymarauder.net/forums/images/smilies/scream.gif

They are selling the Pro Turbo Kit...
The kit Racer Walsh sells is a Pro Turbo Kit. They are a dealer for PTK. I am very good friends with the owner of Racer Walsh and kinda know the guys from Pro Turbo Kits. This is my 2nd turbo kit I have bought from one of the owners....
No pre-made twin kit is available yet. But I am sure you can find someone to custom make one. Room might be an issue but something they can overcome with a little creative thought. In fact I bet Pro Turbo Kits could do something for you. If they have time.
Turbo Ernie already has his Pro Turbo Kit on his car (Marauder). He loves it. I have my kit in my garage waiting for install (and delivery of my turbo). Everything else is here. The kit looks great.

I was considering a Turbo before the Trilogy. Since I routinely take the MM on road trips with the family, I didn't want to be the pioneer of this "new to the MM" power adder.
I needed a proven power adder. I have no regrets, but its nice to see someone willing to be different.

Has anyone tired doing a remote mount (http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=571566&highlight=turbo) turbo like he did in that thread?

The Marauder already has the COBRA Heads, so in short, YES.
If you got a COBRA Block, you could transfer over the heads,
and get the crank, rods, pistons, cams and valves
you really want for your project.
Good Luck !!
