Thanks to the invite from FME and SVT to run at their closed event at Milan last night. Had some fun with the Ford GT and I had a chance to break in the new heat cycled Nittos, folks...its well worth the $30! Car ran as strong, if not stronger then ever and I laid down a new personal best in the car of 11.92 at almost 115 MPH. Its a testiment to what these cars will do with the right equipment! Anyway, here is the slip.

Congrats on your new personal best. I too as well as Dave posted my new personal best. It was a 13.1032 at 105mph. It was also my best reaction time with a .2009. MikesMerc also tied his personal best with his 11.53 run. It truely was a night of personal best.

Thanks Darryl, You and Mike also should be congratulated. Mike has built up one hell of a Monster Marauder, on par with Jerry and Lidio in the Marauder hall of fame! Your ride runs great for whats in it. You are right where I was at that level of mods, in fact, I think your times are a bit better. One mod from 12s!! It was a night to remember. I cant rememeber having such a great time together this year, perhaps since the pressure of MVIII planning was gone! We need to get out one more time this year....

It was indeed. Though not at the levels you guys are running (obviously), I was able to improve my personal best from 14.55 to 14.33, so I was kinda happy with that. :)
A good way to close out the year.

Congrats Dave!

I caught your run against the GT on Paul's camcorder....sweet indeed! Your car is indeed smoking now. I think you have the quickest non-NOS Trilogy car around now:)

And to think, you still have the stock stall converter and fairly modest 3.73 gears too! Steeper gears and a big stall would get you another 3-4 tenths....do the math on that!!
