Wow, that's great times. How was the crowd at MIR and the track conditions ?

Track conditions were great even with the number of close wreaks and oil spilled. Tires were dropped to 30psi and I had minimum wheelspin. Just have to work on my reation time now. It was about 70 degree F when I did my third and best run. It helped that the engine had time to cool down.

Time slip in my gallery.

That is one fast stock Marauder.

I was into 4:10's, tuning, UD pullies, CAI and intake spacer. to get those times.

Was a good day! Was hoping to see a few more peeps down there. My dad also had his best time to date. It was on his first run of the day it was about 60* and we both were suprised when it ran 12.347 at 110.36 mph from a previos best of 12.51 at 109.09mph. Of course this ain't no bone stock car, but it only has a Trilogy and a 9" cone filter tuned for 102 octane race fuel with the driver head lite out for a little ram air effect.:pimp:
He also made it to the semifinals in the Gamblers race, so it was a good day.

It was good to meet Brendan and Andy. Andy has a Crown Vic and he ran real well too.

Hope to meet more of u at the rescheduled NVMC race at Mason Dixon.

WOW! What 'hit' of Nitrous are you running? You gained almost 1-1/2 seconds and 9 mph! :bows:

I'm short on mod funds and won't be able to buy a S/C soon but NOS is starting to look really good right now.... :hmmm:

BTW: Killer times for a stock Marauder, Brendan!!! :bows:

I'm leaving with about 410ft-lbs on ET streets (26x10.5s). I get about 100hp, but over 130ft-lbs out of it.

Don't forget that I had to take out the advanced timing, my previous 87 timing best was 14.766, so I'm really going from a 14.766-->12.955 on spray. Most of my improvement is in the first 1/8th mile, since I'm 'torque loaded'. Higher HP cars tend to catch me in the second half of the track (now if we were only racing 1/8th, but where's the fun in that?)

I've been using the nitrous kit for about 3 years now.

My '03's bone stock as well (and actually only has < 2.7K mi. on it.) I typically punch the heck out of it getting onto the highway, but have never raced it.

Can anyone tell me a) what the fastest time is for a bone stock '03, and b) what would normally be expected for a bone stock '03?

I have toyed with the idea of a chipping and regearing the beast, but the longer I go while keeping the miles down, the more I need to consider the potential eventual collectibility quotient, which argues for maintaining it just as it was from the factory.

This isn't quite the fastest, but it's close. 14.5's is the quickest, I believe. I've run 14.8's stock (duplicated on different days and tracks). seems that the 'normal' range for '03's is 14.8 - 15.2, depending on many variables (weather, driver, track, etc)...

A handheld programmer is easily undone. If you really wanted to, you could reinstall stock gears down the road, too... If you're worried about returning to stock, it wouldn't be that hard, with a couple of 'little' mods...
Gears, chip 'n' filter (JLT) have really spruced up my ride:burn:

I got a 15.02 @ 94mph out of my dad's stock car in about 60* weather that was with 26" ET Streets also so we could see the before and after Trilogy.

I'm not going to do the gears because after riding in the S/C MMs I'm convinced I will be ordering one!
