I live on a pretty much deserted paved road and occasionally I do a 1/4 mile blast since there is no traffic and no side roads for 1/2 mile.....Better known as my "Private Track"!!!

I have never heard this car squeel the tires on launch though it launches pretty hard!! :bows:

Today I "let 'er rip" from a stand still and noticed TWO BLACK STRIPES about 30 feet long!! :banana2: They were more pronounced at the beginning and got fainter as I picked up speed!!! :burnout:

What's with these "No Squeeley" BFG's.....Am I deaf or do they just not squeel??

BTW...I was very impressed that it laid them down pretty good but very quietly??

I think it even gave a little black mark at the 1-2 shift as well!!

Maybe it is finally getting broken in!! :rasta:

PS: Getting my Nitto NT 555's tomorrow!!! :D

 Excellent...especially with no gears and just a tune and the RAI. It gives hope to the rest of us!!

I have a tune from SCT that has a "Bog" at WOT that goes away if you back off a bit!!

I got my SCT engine tune modified to leave the alternator on to see if that is it.....In other words in the normal SCT tune the alternator goes off at WOT....voltage drops as does fuel pressure and you have a lean condition....Maybe??

I haven't tried it but a few time but the "Bog" seems to be gone with the engine feeling stronger and pulling harder at WOT!! :bows:

Anyway.....A few launches I made left significant amounts of rubber for 10-15 feet....TWO NICE BLACK STRIPES!! VERY IMPRESSIVE FROM A N/A CAR!!

I'm going to play with it tomorrow before I get my Nittos...Might as well burn up what's left of the BFG's....EVEN IF THEY DON'T SQUEEL?? :censor:

Stay tuned!!

Not Normal!! Faster at 3/4 Throttle then at WOT was a issue I had after my SCT tune. Call your Tuner, It just Needs a little adjustment to Correct the issue

Nice Jack!

Feels good to leave rubber down on the Pavement, huh?

Blackened.....

I have played with tunes for over a year and a half now and believe it or not the "Ford" engine tune with SCT trans management was the best feeling tune of all...up until yesterday!!! SCT's engine management without the alternator shut off function appears to have eliminated the Bogging and increased the power!! :bows:

I never liked the idea of turning off the alternator anyway.....Nobody does it on a S/C car!! :argue:

Bradley.....

Yes it's really nice to finally be able to spin the tires from a SS!!!! :bows: Before the car would barely spin them in the rain!!

S/C may be next.....Stay Tuned!! :D

Well.....I got the Nitto's yesterday and the fronts seem a bit small but it looks nice and the Traction Control works FINE!!

The tires are quieter than the BFG's and the car seems to ride better but I haven't driven it on the highway yet!! Going to Charleston today and will report on it later today or tomorrow!!

BTW...I have 235/40R's up front and 255/45R's out back!! ;)

One more thing about the NT 555 rears.....They are a little less than 1.5" smaller in diameter making the car appear to have 3.73:1 rear gears and I can really feel it!!!

I'll see what it does (if anything) to fuel economy next week??
