View Full Version : A pillar gauge pods... for a silver MM

Where can i get gauge pods for our car? Specifically one color matched to the interior of the silver MM... the A pillar is grey and not black.

SUMMIT Racing has Autometer gauge pods for our Marauders:
#10110 dual gauge pod
#10111 single gauge pod

Both pods are black plastic and must be painted with Ford spray paint to match the A pillar's/interior's dark grey color.
I bought a can of spray paint #M4JZ-19M547-1074 "Midnight Black Interior".
It is called "Midnight Black" BUT it is really dark grey and matched my interior color perfectly. (I believe that the stock # has been superceded with a newer #)

Wish they made a new formed cover like they do for the superdutys, so we don't have to look at screws.

I removed my A pillar, roughened up the plastic surface with sandpaper, then glued the dual gauge pod on with 'GOOP".
It worked fine and there are NO screw holes/plug covers.

Have a trim shop order up Ford interior leather or vinyl that matches, then they can wrap the pillar. Marty did this with Legal Knevil, and I did this when I put in a new pod in my old MM.

Looks great and factory installed.

I haven't been out to my car but isn't the interior pillar color on the silver marauders different then on the black marauders? also anyone have any pictures of gauges installed? Thanks in advance.

Not necessarily. The light flint interior was also available in other body colors. The dark interior was available in all the body colors. So apparently the question was really asking about matching the light interior? Search the posts here, the color code for the light paint is in here somewhere. Glenn Packard has installed the dual pod in his and some pics are posted, not sure where they are.

I wonder if the paint color codes got posted in the FAQ section?
