Found out yesterday that I am gonna be a Grandfather. :D Not sure that I am completely ready for this ... but I am pretty sure that I can handle the job. Seems that my wife gets a big charge out of calling me "Grand Pop".

I guess my son has been taking full advantage of all of that bed rest that the doctor is prescribing.

Sheesh ... 55 and geezerhood all in less than 6 weeks. :geezer:

Guess I'll have to go out tomorrow and run the heck out of the Marauder !!!

Welcome to the Grandpa Club oh venerable one! We have 4 (and I'm 46). Glad to see your son is feeling better.

Congrats Charlie!

BTW: You are not officially a geezer until we catch you driving your Marauder in the left lane at 52 mph with your turn signal stuck on.....

My understanding is that the new Grandchild handles delivery of that. Usually on your shoulder or in a diaper.

Congrats, sir. You are truly blessed.

Best,

Dan

:banana2: Congrats...good news and something to look forward to. Our daughter and son-in-law are expecting triplets in January, however they will probably take them sometime late next month. So when we become grand-parents it will be all at one time!!! Well, better them then us!!!

I have been a member of AARP since the day that I bought my Marauder. Seems there was a $500 rebate for AARP members on top of the other rebates. Best $12.50 investment I ever made with a 40-fold instantaneous return. :D

Charlie, I guess the next logical step is to get a matching Dark Blue Pearl Handicapped tag!:D That way, you can be first in the Brew Pub since those spots are so close to the door.
