Now that the MM is out of winter storage its time to get on with the mods... Ordered the exhaust tips today and am going out this week-end and find some wheels I like somehow, someplace but going to find something... Question is: Would like wider tires on the new wheels, am going to stay with the 18" can anyone tell me what brand, size etc that I can use without going nutso and changing speedo reading etc... Any help would be appreciated..

Factory tires are 245 x 55 back and 235 X 50 front if I remember correctly...245 X 55 = wall height of 134.75mm or 245 X .55 =134.75mm.... 55 is % of width so just get wider like 255 X 50 = 127.5mm which is a small delta...just check for clearance...

You've got less than an inch of clearance in the inboard side of the rear tires. Unless you change the offset of the rim itself, you're stuck with the stock size, perhaps a 255, but you'd be pushing your luck.

hd2805, to my knowledge, this was posted on another Thread with the Marauder S tires. You can fit the Pirelli P Zero's 255/45-18 in the front and 255/50-18 in the rear with a less than 1% delta between these and the stock. Should fit with no problem.

I'm really on a learning curve here, in looking at the THE TIRE RACK selection is looks like the P Zero are available in two models a. Rosso Asimmetrico and b. System Asimmetrico.... The first not offering both sizes, the System Asimmetrico offers both but in differant speed ratings 255/45-18 are YR while the 255/50-18 are ZR rated... Do I really give a damn or what??? Or am I on the wrong track to begin with.... Just want wider tires on 8-1/2" rims (as in stock size)???????????HELP...
