I go between Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida quite a bit. It appears that overall, Georgia gas stations seem to be gouging. What makes me say this? Always before, Georgia gas stations around Thomasville (just north of Tallahassee FL) were about 20 cents cheaper than Tallahassee but now they're about the same. And Georgia always used to be about 10 cents cheaper than Tennessee, but now it's about 10 cents more expensive. Since Georgia's gas tax is 10 cents/gal cheaper than Tennessee's, why is the Georgia gas more expensive?

Anyway, I did see gas in Georgia at $2.38 today but bought it in Tennessee at $2.24 instead!

If that is for 93, we pay more here.

I was refueling today @2.64 for 93 that is nearly the lowest, in a very long time.

Nope, that's the cheap stuff, I was in the Exploder (company vehicle).

Then, that is almost the same here. usually about ten cents difference per grade.

Yeah, but why is Georgia's gas now more expensive than neighboring states when it used to be less expensive? I believe it's because the general public in Georgia don't realize they're being robbed.

100 octane is $4.25 around here.

Not too shabby.

Funny you should bring this up ...

I was just up in Cairo GA a few days ago, which is just west of Thomasville ..... & I was thinking how nice it would be to have their gas prices ... down here in SW FL.

The self-serve car washes were cheaper too.

Where and what brand of fuel was that Bradley?
