My absolute BEST MOD was the SCT 9100 program from a trans management point of view!! :bows: I would not have kept the car with the Ford program in it!! :argue: :mad2:
The 2nd best is the Granatelli Solid Spark Plug Connectors!!! The car has never been this smooooooth and the idle is absolutely perfect with no missing or sputtering. It has periodically had a rough idle but never stalled except for the first week but the rough idle and the bucking at TC lock was irritating!!! :mad2:
I cannot believe the arrangement Ford has with the loose fitting "springies" for conductors...These solid connectors have really made an improvement and I would recommend them to all of you...especially the S/C cars!!

I went to JC Whitney's website and couldn't find them and really figured they didn't carry them or they had something similar from another vendor so I called Granatelli and talked to a guy who said they will match any distributor price!!
So he matched Summit's catalog price and that was fine with me!! I have emailed him to see if they will match the Whitney price and will let you know what they say!! ;)
What they did for me was worth $500.00 since the car has been acting up for some time and no codes were thrown...so my dealer couldn't find anything!! :argue: Truthfully if the coils are firing properly and the fire ain't making it to the plugs properly....How can you find the boogers?? Replace all the coils??
These things WORK and WORK well.....And that's all I have to say about that(Forrest Gump)!!! :bows:

Interesting indeed. I'm gonna look into these.
Any installation issues or are these totally plug n play?

JCW commonly shows a picture of one version of an item, then lists several different versions with the part numbers. They are similar enough that they don't post pics of each individual item.

I haven't had any problems at least none that I am sharp enough to recognize but the logic is good and the raves here and in another thread have convinced me it is worth the small investment in money and time to replace EOM springs. My order is in. Thanks for the info. Dennis:bows:

I have the kit right here and can verify that they do show the wrong image on their site. The kit has the correct boots.

What Mike said. I though the coil overs were hard wired into a harness? Do the old ones pop off?
I haven't had any firing issues, so if the standard ones are working, would there still be a benefit to this? Just plain reliability I guess. That's only about 50% more than a single set of Densos, so it looks like a pretty good deal.
Thanks,
Norm

The problem I had was periodic missfiring and it is very apparent in TC lockup...jerking and bucking at cruise!!! :argue:
They eliminated it COMPLETELY and probably will increase fuel economy some??
I'll let you know as I am traveling to Charlotte, NC today.

The Coils arent hard wired into the harness, they have a plastic clip that unplugs them, Its is Very Much Plug and Play
