Anyone know what this is. I don't know if it's a steel body, or a replica, but it sure was nice. My wife is dying to find out what it is. Appreciate any help from the experts.

CRAZY! I almost spit coffee on my computer! Well I can see the car now, whatever it is, I'd like to have it.

It appears to be or what looks like a 39 chevy custom!:DThanks FastMerc. We just got to look at it for a short time, and I grabbed a couple shots. We went back later to talk to the lady that owned it, and she was gone. There were no badges or anything to identify what it was, so I'll go with the Chevy idea and do some research.

I'd say that '39 Chevy is the right neighborhood... the details have all been changed a bit... judging by the personalized plate I'd guess it started as a 2-door sedan... maybe a '38, maybe a Pontiac or Olds too... but pretty sure its a GM product. I think you could start with any of those and end up with a twin to this.

Sure lookie pretty.

The headlights look to be from a '39 Chevy but the car has been customized a bit. Turn signals removed, etc. (Had a '41 so I know a bit on these.)

There seems to be more than one year model at work there, and 37-8-9 is right...somebody has done some very nice work!

What a sweet ride!
