OK, sorry for mentioning it here, but I can't seem to get an answer on this despite e-mails and PM's to the forum leaders.

Can someone please tell me how to edit my Classified ad in the Classifieds section of the MM.net forum?

I click on the "Edit product" link for my own ad and it says something like "Sorry you do not have permission to post, or if you tried to edit you may not be the post's author."

I just want to edit my great ad to make the fantastically low price even lower. (Hint, hint) ;)

Don't if this will help in your case but log out then log back in. I had the same message the other day when I tried to edit a post. Logged out then back in and everything was fine.

You know, I shouldn't even bump this to the top by replying, but it isn't polite to diss someone else's product ad. This is standard netiquette no matter which forum you're on. I sell dozens of knives on other forums and this is a cardinal rule. You don't like it, don't buy it, but you keep your comments as to your perceptions of the product listed for sale to yourself.

Like them or not these are still selling and people are buying them off a sponsor of this site. I'm sure you didn't think it through or intend to do so but would appreciate you not screwing up my action, especially when it's no skin off your nose whether I sell it or not.
