Just as a tidbit of information that might help 1/4 mile times. When I had my Harley F150 some of the guys that went to the track said that their times increased when they adjusted their pedals all the way up. It seems that the throttle did not open up all the way when they were down. Something to check out if any body would like to try it.

Vewwy Intewesting.... I'll have to go see where my pedals are.... Haven't gone to a track yet, but I want ALL the acceleration that I can get!

That explains why those SC cars and the gas passers are kicking my butt I bet. :) Dennis

This makes some sense.
When the pedals are all the way up, there is more travel
to the floorboard than when the pedals are all the way down.
I think the difference is 2" between fully up and fully down.

This can translate into a bit more accelerator travel
when the pedals are all the way up....

Open your hood and have a buddy hit the pedal while pedals are all the way

in the "up" position, and vice-versa. See if there is a differnce in the trottle.
