Chip question

Can someone tell me if the switch is needed for the chip to work or can I just put the chip in and be all set. Installing today. THANKS :help:

You only need the switch if you have a dual program...

Or, I believe, if you want to "shut the chip off." But, you shouldn't want to do that. I have a chip and no switch. When I am done tuning my car, I will be adding a dual program (a valet mode) and will add the switch at that time.
