Can someone please confirm for me whether the underhood light bulb faces down or up when the hood is opened?

I installed the underhood insulator and am threading the underhood light cord thru the backing material I installed, and am trying to locate the holes and can't remember which way it came out.

Thanks!

Norm

I do believe only the 300A's have a hood light.

I thought all MM's came with a trunk light??? If you have an '04 MM then you don't have the under hood light, remote fule door release, auto parking brake release, full size spare, what else am I missing??

I remember our first local Orlando meet - most of the other Marauderers were jealous of my pretty shiny underhood light.... I felt so special that day..... ;) I do have some meet pics with hoods up of various Marauders showing the lights, but none show enough detail that I think you probably want. Good news though, I have recently acquired a MUCH better digital camera! Hey...I have it with me... lemme go take a pic!

check my gallery for a couple other pics if the light if you wish... sheesh... time to wash under the hood....

My 2004 has one, but it's pretty weak.
Which brings up the question. any other bulb otions available?
And another. Has anyone documented Marauder vs. Grand Marquis diffeences? Or 300a vs.300b?
Thanks, Jim

Some folks got a seperate clock in the dash by itself. Most of us have the clock built into the radio.

How About the trunk lid liner? Anyone get one or those factory?

Must have been cutting weight in mine...

I have one on my 300B, but I may change it to the setup I had in my Grand Am (which came with no light.) Switched dual 12" cold cathodes...

Even though both pics are with flash, they were quite bright. Only concern on the Marauder is it's bigger so the wires from the inverter may need to be longer, I was pushing it on that install, another few inches of wire and the inverter would not power them. But, I think I can mount the inverter under the hood rather than in the engine compartment...

Replace with LED. Cooler temp, more light.

Is the replacement light listed an LED?
It didn't say Silverstar on the underhood light, looked like it was only a replacement light.
Thanks, Jim
