Ian buddy, this ones for you. You wouldn't believe the virtual convention of mercs in Burlington today.At the tims on plains road today were 6 black cars and a yellow one and two blue cars. We thought you may be there so we pulled in to see. some very nice ones but of course not as nice as yours. 'Course we didn't have the damn camera with us this once wouldn't ya know it!
believe it or not, the yellow one WAS a marauder!!. The guy decided to do something different and different it was.The engine bay was black! <!--emo&TonyIanBill-->http://67.18.37.15/299/98/emo/bounce.gif<!--endemo--><!-- THE POST -->

Welcome. Nice bird! I just sold my '90 SC in June. :cry: What a sad day that was.

You'll have a hell of a time finding an 04 around these parts. You may have better luck in the US. FYI - 04 is the only one with heated seats and a moon roof.

Welcome aboard or.. abroad, whatever. Seems I should probably hook up with my pals in Canadas Ontario region. I am much closer to you than all the others. I have a Neice who lives in BC. That's a long way from Buffalo, NY...

Good luck in your search.

thanks guys, im really lookin foreward to joinin you guys officially (when im rollin a marauder)... this weekend im gonna look at one locally, 03 black marauder. i figured that if i ever find the EXACT one i want (04 black w/ allllll the options and moonroof) it'll cost me an arm and a leg. any 03/04 black marauder will do the trick just fine. so ya i found one here like 30 min drive from where i am, 25000 CDN, 50000kms. i'll see what its like and see what theyd give me for my SC as a trade in. prob use it as a down payment or something. ill take pics and post em up here next week :D

me? 10 US with everything or like 8900 US w/o the rims and system. i know its a bit over the going price for these cars but ive had 2 offers at around 10 US so far, both of which have yet to fall through :mad2:. car barely needs anything and runs mint so thats why im staying by that.

My '03 had 13,000 kms on it when I bought it used in April. I paid 29,000 Cdn. for it. I have no idea whether or not that was a good price, I just wanted the car. Better to pay that than the 46,000 Cdn. when it first came out. Maybe this'll give you a better idea on how much it's worth?

21 eh? and all marauders are pretty much similarily equipped i presume so i should possibly stretch for that as well. think im gonna print out the KBB value and bring it to the place when i go.

i also figure that w/ gas prices the way theyve been, winter coming up..etc they're gonna try to move this car quick. its gonna be hard to act not interested in it cuz i reallllllllly want it but in the end ill be better off. think im goin tomroorw morning so i'll post pics up by tomrorow night for ya guys to see what im lookin' at :beer:

Oil pressure gauge is on/off only. It doesn't read actual pressure. Many have switched out for a real gauge. Some even reused the OEM faceplate.

so if they use the OEM autometer faceplates then the gauges are real then? just not hooked up? forgive me for sounding like a complete idiot but heres what i understand so far...

volts = real readings
oil press = reads pressure but not "real time"

As long as there is pressure, the guage will read 60lbs no more no less. My real oil pressure guage reads 75 lbs when cold or under load and 24-26 lbs when warm and idleing. Those are the normal readings.

Buy a real, working oil pressure gauge (AutoMeter oil pressure gauge (includes sender) – 4327) and swap the faceplate off the OEM one, if you like. It's not necessary but some have chosen to do so. The faceplates are lit slightly different.

right on. when i first read that they weren't fuctional i thought it was litereally just 100% for show. at least the water pressure still works... guess ive found ONE thing im dissapointed in marauders for.

also....was a decklid spoiler (lip) a factory option?No. It's available from the dealer and some parts vendors, but was not an ordering option from the factory. Many have been successful with self-installs.
